Brick slips are used to bring people's homes to life, from fireplace chambers, kitchens and feature walls, to external improvements. However- using them in a retail space gives an extra wow factor to any shop, cafe, restaurant or hotel.
What Do I Need To Consider?
Which Wall do I Choose?
If you aren't using brick slips on the whole premises, you want to choose a wall that will show off the bricks. That means one that won't be covered by stock or a product display for example. It's also an idea to make it a wall that is visible from the outside, to show off to passers-by.
The final consideration is a more practical one, think about the sockets, windows, recesses and pillars that are involved in each wall, every one of those requires a little extra care on installation- whereas a flat wall is a nice blank canvas to work from and would bring down the installation time and cost.
Blend Choice
Choose a blend that fits with both your area and your brand.
The simplest way to start your choice is by style, and then colour. We have 3 different collections-
Rustic, worn, timeless and unique.
Classic Bricks, Creased and varied
Smooth, sleek and modern.
Once you've got your style, then you can refine it further into the colour based on both your preference and also the predominant brick colour in your area.
Mortar Choice
Don't overlook the mortar colour, it makes up around 15% of the total look, and can really change the brick wall, there's also the profile of the mortar to consider, be it flush with the bricks, or recessed as if worn down.

Fixings
Having chosen your blend and mortar colour, you'll need to have your fixtures and fittings complementing those styles. From any wall decor to tables, chairs, clothes rails or shelving.
