What Do I Need?

The bonding primer is used to prepare the surface you're tiling onto, it helps the adhesive to grap.
Our adhesive is specially formulated to work with brick slips on multiple surfaces, from masonry to plasterboard.
The T spacers give the perfect masonry joint of 10mm.
Our mortar is created to flow nicely through a mortar gun or piping bag for ease of installation, and expands and contracts with temperature changes.

What Tools Do I Need?

The main tools you'll need are:
A paintbrush/roller to apply the primer
A mixing paddle to mix the adhesive and mortar
A notched trowel to apply the adhesive
A tile cutter or angle grinder to cut the slips
A spirit level
A mortar gun or piping bag to apply the mortar
A jointing tool to finish the joints
A stiff brush to clear any excess mortar

Do I Need to Seal the Brick Slips?

You don't need to seal the brick slips, however brick does soak in moisture.
This means if you're installing in a kitchen or bathroom it can be useful for you to do so. Brick sealant doesn't change the look, it just paints on too. Ensure though that the installation is completely dry before applying.

What about other Mortar Colours?

You can mix sand and cement to provide different mortar colours, however you may need to use a plasticiser in order for it to both run comfortably through a mortar gun and expand and contract in temperature fluctuations.
You can also find mortar tones/dyes to change the colour- the best way to do this is using the white mortar so you have a clear base- it's always advisable to do a test so you have the colour correct and keep to exact quantity ratios.
